What is Pediatric Occupational Therapy?

Our pediatric occupational therapist can help your child develop the skills they need in order to grow into functional, independent adults. A child’s “occupation” is play! Children learn how to interact with others, care for themselves, and develop through play. Through our evaluation process, we will determine which areas of skilled development might need advancement. We will work with you and your family to help your child reach all developmental milestones. We believe each and every child deserves to be supported and given the chance to learn and master skills that allow them to succeed throughout their life.

Refer to our Developmental Screening Tool to see what skills typically develop in children between the ages of 1 and 6.
